The building housing the Harvey Grant Heritage Museum is owned by the Town of Springdale. Construction on the 3-story house was begun in 1917 by Herbert Inder who was killed in World War I. Incomplete, the building was purchased in 1919 by Harvey Clarence Grant who finished the house in 1920 and lived there until 1979 at which time he sold it to the Town for $1.00. It was transformed into a museum

which opened July 1, 1981. On display are local artefacts such as the Springdale auto license plate, a pump organ, daybed, tools, rifles, words, etc.
