The Heritage Society in Milltown has been in the process of gathering artifacts for the town’s museum and working to upgrade and renovate the building. The Society has purchased the oldest home in Milltown and is seeking funds to carry out the relocation and restoration of the home. The project will see the house relocated to its original location where it will be developed as a heritage homestead. The Society holds collections of photographs, oral history, household items, school items, antique furniture, logging and ship building tools and other miscellaneous items.
